Fill their bowls!
Families with pets need to know that they can continue to feed them well, even when times get tough. Paws Pantry’s mission is to provide pet food for food insecure families in Brunswick County to ensure pets remain with their owners and out of shelters. Suppling county food pantries with dog and cat food ensures that these families have a consistent source of pet food.
Currently, the following food distribution centers are supplied with pet food through Paws Pantry:
-
Southport Oak Island InterChurch Fellowship (SOIICF), Boiling Springs**
-
Brunswick Family Assistance, Bolivia**
** The amount of pet food distributed through the food pantries is not meant to provide all of a pet’s monthly nutritional needs; it supplements pets’ diets during times of financial hardship.
Pantry Meals on Wheels
Paws Pantry Meals on Wheels Paws Pantry also provides pet food to some two Brunswick County Meals on Wheels programs.
